Claudia McFarlane, Deputy Chair
Claudia McFarlane has over 28 years of experience managing voluntary sector groups and charities in Bradford.
Claudia brings host of skills and core strengths in project management, recruitment, administration, IT, training, fundraising, capacity building and strategic development. Claudia is the Director of ACAP (African Caribbean Achievement Project), a Charity established in 1995 to work on improving the educational outcomes and welfare of people of African and Caribbean descent in West Yorkshire. Claudia also runs a project called the ‘Furniture Hackers’ which is a Social Enterprise that exists to train unemployed members of the African Caribbean community to develop the skills they need to renovate furniture and design and build other products that can be sold online for a profit.
Claudia is passionate about working in the African and African Caribbean community and is dedicated to contributing to the health and wellbeing of community members.
