Family Support and Community Engagement Worker

Hi, my name is Janet, and I am the Family Engagement Support Worker here at Can-Survive UK.

My role involves working directly with families in Manchester to provide support, practical advice, and signposting to relevant services.  I am passionate about empowering people living with cancer and their families to navigate through the complexities of cancer, the diagnosis and treatment and explore how Can-Survive can be of service.

I have recently joined the organisation and feel privileged being part of a unique service providing culturally sensitive (extensive) support for African, Caribbean and other minority ethnic (although not exclusively) community members living in Greater Manchester.
