Can-Survive in Trafford

Can-Survive UK’s wellbeing and support group in Trafford is a welcoming space for everyone affected by cancer, with a special focus on supporting people from African and Caribbean backgrounds. We understand that culture, family, faith, and shared experiences can play an important role in how we cope. Our group offers a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported – just as you are.

What we offer

  • A safe, welcoming, and confidential space to talk and share
  • Peer support and encouragement from others in the group
  • Wellbeing activities including relaxation, mindfulness, gentle movement, and creative sessions
  • Culturally aware support that respects your background, identity, and experiences
  • Opportunities for friendship, connection, and a sense of community
We provide refreshments and a light lunch. So come along and join us. Reasonable travel expenses paid upon production of a receipt.

Where and when we meet

Weekly on Thursdays between 12 noon and 2pm, at:
Limelight Health and
Wellbeing Hub
1 St Bride’s Way, Old Trafford
Manchester M16 9NW
